Description

Dietary supplement of personalised nutrition to reduce cholesterol based on plant sterols. It provides Lactobacillus plantarum LPLDL®, a latest generation strain developed by Optibiotix and of which a large number of clinical trials have been conducted. It also provides plant sterols. Plant sterols contribute to the maintenance of normal blood cholesterol levels. Also known as phytosterols and natural extracts with a cholesterol-like composition, sterols can help lower cholesterol by blocking cholesterol absorption in the intestine.

It also contains omega-3 fatty acids (EPA DHA). DHA contributes to the maintenance of normal triglyceride levels in the blood. Omega-3s are fatty acids found mainly in fish oils and are part of cell membranes.

Instructions for use

Dietary supplements should be taken in the context of a varied and balanced diet and as part of an active lifestyle. Add a 15g sachet in 100ml of cold water and shake vigorously in a mixing glass until complete dissolution. Wait a few seconds for rehydration. Keep refrigerated once prepared.

Composition

Lactose-free skimmed milk powder, modified starch, plant sterols (10%), serum protein concentrate (milk), bulking agent (maltodextrin), fish oil rich in EPA and DHA, (milk, soybean) acidulant (citric acid), Ashwagandha whole plant extract (Withania somnifera (L.) Duna), strawberry flavor, sweetener (sucralose), coloring (carminic acid), natural vitamin E and Lactobacillus plantarum LP LDL.

Pharmaceutical Advice

Omega-3 fatty acids are a type of polyunsaturated fat that helps regulate triglyceride and cholesterol blood levels. However, these fats, which help to maintain cardiovascular health, are not produced by the body. This is why it is important to include foods rich in Omega 3 in your diet, such as fish and shellfish, seeds or algae. Without ever exceeding the recommended dose, you can also opt for dietary supplements that provide these beneficial fatty acids.

The most common fatty acids are EPA and DHA (from marine sources) and ALA (from plant sources), which help regulate blood pressure. They also help to reduce the risk of developing irregular heartbeats or arrhythmias. Omega-3's main benefits are therefore related to cardiovascular health and, as they are part of the cell membranes, they also help to maintain the nervous system function in good condition. Remember that dietary supplements should never replace a healthy, balanced diet.
