Clearblue Pregnancy Test 1 Minute is a self-diagnostic test to identify pregnancy. It consists of a quick and simple test. It detects the presence of human chorionic gonadotropin (HCG), a hormone that appears in urine shortly after pregnancy occurs.

It is easy to use, with an ergonomic design, and has a greater than 99% accuracy from the theoretical day your period should start. Thanks to its color-changing and wider tip, samples are easier to collect. Additionally, it changes from white to pink to indicate that the sample has been taken correctly.

Sensitivity of the test: sensitive to 25 mUI/ml of HCG. The results are easy to read with plus (+) or minus (-) signs in just 1 minute.

1. Before starting. Use a clock to perform the test. It can be done at any time of the day from the date your period should have started.
2. Perform the test. Remove the aluminum wrapper and take off the cap. Use the test stick immediately. The test can be done directly in the urine stream or in a sample collected in a dry, clean container. Hold the color-changing tip pointing down into the urine stream or in the collected urine sample, as shown, for 5 seconds. The color-changing tip will quickly turn pink to indicate that it is absorbing the urine. Hold the color-changing tip in the urine for 5 seconds. Keep the color-changing tip pointing down or place the test stick horizontally on a flat surface until you are ready to read the result and a blue line appears in the control window. 3. Wait 3 minutes for greater reliability in reading the result. When the test starts to work, blue lines will begin to form.
4. Read the result. The results can be read in the result window. A blue line should appear in the control window when reading the result. This line indicates that the test has worked correctly. A "Pregnant" result may appear in as little as 1 minute when the test is done from the day of missed period (i.e., the day after your period should have started) and is clearly symbolized with a (+). Wait 3 minutes to confirm a "Not Pregnant" result. If no blue line is seen in the control window, then the test has not worked correctly. IMPORTANT: Read the results within 10 minutes of performing the test. Ignore any changes after that time.
