Description

Ducray Kelual DS Treatment Shampoo 100 ml is a shampoo that helps to and reduce the appearance of severe dandruff.

Formulated with a patented combination of active ingredients such as Ciclopirox Olamine and Piroctone Olamine combined with CPO, which work together to eliminate dandruff quickly and effectively.

Additionally, it has a creamy texture and is delicately scented, making it particularly pleasant and enjoyable to use.

Indicated for recurrent dandruff conditions with intense itching and skin redness, and for scalps prone to seborrheic dermatitis.

Instructions for use

Attack phase: 3 washes a week for 2 weeks.

Maintenance phase: 1 time a week as a maintenance treatment helps prevent the reappearance of dandruff in the long term.

  • Apply a small amount of product to the palm of your hand and lather by massaging the scalp.

  • Rinse the scalp and hair thoroughly.

  • Reapply the shampoo and leave it on for 3 minutes.

  • Rinse thoroughly.

Pharmaceutical Advice

Seborrhoeic dermatitis is a skin condition that usually affects the scalp. It can also affect other oily areas of the body such as the face, sides of the nose, eyebrows, ears, eyelids and chest.

Persistent scaling with itching or discomfort usually occurs. Its formation is related to excessive activity of the sebaceous glands and alteration of the skin microbiome (overgrowth of fungi of the genus Malassezia). It can be aggravated by the effect of some medications.

Certain factors can trigger the appearance of seborrhoeic dermatitis, so it is advisable to keep them at bay or take preventive measures: stress, extreme temperatures, oily skin or skin with underlying acne, excessive alcohol consumption or obesity.

To improve seborrhoeic dermatitis, it is recommended to use non-irritating face soaps and/or shampoos with specific ingredients to counteract the problem (sebum-regulating, soothing, keratolytic, antipruritic, plant extracts with antiseptic and antifungal properties, etc.). In the case of shampoos, I recommend alternating their use with another very gentle and balancing cleanser. In a facial routine, as well as a specific facial cleanser, complete the treatment with an emulsion that includes some of the ingredients described above, and oil-free sunscreen. I recommend avoiding soaps that are too astringent, as well as cosmetics with too much of an oily phase, so as not to increase the sebum in the skin.
