Lohmann & Rausher Set Postoperative Dressings

Lohmann & Rausher Velpeau Medium Dressing Set 5 to 10 cm (3 treatments) is indicated for cleaning and covering sutured, non-infected postoperative wounds.

CHARACTERISTICS The Lohmann & Rausher Medium Dressing Set for Wounds > 5 cm and < 10 cm contains : - Blister - 1 sheet of waterproof dressing 38 x 45 cm. - 5 sterile non-woven dressing pads 10 x 10 cm. - 2 anatomical forceps. - Not in blister pack - 3 sterile adhesive dressings 10 x 15 cm. - 3 sterile transparent adhesive sterile adhesive sheets 15 x 20 cm. - 3 waste collection bags. - 1 sterile wire cutter. - 1 instructions for use. INDICATION

- Cleaning and coverage of large postoperative sutured non-infected wounds > 5 cm and < 10 cm. - Removal of sutures from sutured wounds. - Creation of watertight shower dressings. Instructions for use Blue forceps: tray forceps. Green forceps: patient forceps. - Wash hands and prepare equipment for treatment. Remove and place a waste collection bag. - Open a sterile blister pack and remove the dressings required for treatment. - Remove the treatment drape and place it on the stretcher. - Remove the dressings from the blister pack using the blue forceps and place them on the treatment field. - Remove the soiled dressing. - Clean the wound with the forceps and the compresses impregnated with the prescribed cleaning solution. - Cover the wound with the sterile adhesive dressing. - Cover the adhesive dressing with the transparent film to waterproof the dressing and allow showering. Remove the two sheets of silicone paper from the adhesive, apply the dressing and remove the protective film by pulling the blue tab. - Collect all residues, except sharps, in the collection bag. - Repeat the treatment according to the prescription and/or the condition of the wound In case of thread removal: use the sterile thread cutter and remove the threads according to the medical prescription.
