Ialuset Pro Plus Antibacterial Healing Cream 25 g is a formula designed for the treatment of infected wounds and burns, as well as for dermatological conditions with a risk of infection. This product contains hyaluronic acid and silver sulfadiazine, which are its main ingredients.
Hyaluronic acid is an essential component of the dermis structure. Its function is fundamental in all stages of the healing process, as it:
- Accelerates the regeneration and reepithelialization of skin lesions.
- Its ability to retain moisture creates a favorable environment for tissue recovery.
On the other hand, silver sulfadiazine provides a powerful antibacterial action, especially effective against Gram-negative bacteria. This helps to prevent and treat infections in wounds.
For use, it is recommended to:
- Apply the cream directly onto the previously cleaned and disinfected wound, in a layer of approximately 2 to 3 mm thick.
- Alternatively, the cream can be placed on a sterile gauze that will be applied to the wound.
- Cover the cream with a sterile gauze and keep it in place with an appropriate bandage.
- Clean the wound with saline solution before each new application.
The recommended frequency of application is once a day, from the healing phase until the wound is completely closed. It is suggested not to prolong the treatment for more than a month.
The composition of the cream includes:
- Hyaluronic acid: sodium salt at 0.2%
- Silver sulfadiazine: at 1%
- Other components such as oleic acid decyl ester, cetearyl alcohol, and various forms of sulfate and glycerol, among others.
