Instructions for use

How do I use Neutrogena Blackhead Eliminating Exfoliating Strips?

  • Cleanse your face and dry your hands.
  • Gently peel the protective paper off the strip.
  • Attach the strip to your nose, which should be moistened (hands should be dry!), and leave on for 1-2 minutes.
  • Apply water over the strip and massage to penetrate and activate the scrub.
  • Rinse completely with lukewarm water.

Glycerin, also known as glycerol, is a viscous, colourless, odourless liquid that is an intermediate product of alcoholic fermentation and is a member of triglycerides. It is highly valued for its moisturising and emollient properties and is therefore widely used in cosmetics.

The feeling it leaves is very pleasant on the skin and also the strip is very effective, massaging outwards you can perfectly exfoliate the entire face. It is true that in a first use the effect on blackheads is not as resounding as a conventional strip but I still have to try it more continuously for more days.

I was hoping it would be strips to remove the blackheads and it's a kind of exfoliating treatment... you apply the strip and after a few minutes you dissolve it with water over the nose until it forms a kind of sandy exfoliating product. I also bought the Neutronega-gel scrub that comes to do the same effect, so this does not reinforce a peel, but you have to apply it several times a week to see the effect. I don't recommend it.
