Description

Gluten is the main protein of four widely used cereals in our diet: oats, barley, rye and, above all, wheat. Intolerance to this type of protein is called celiac disease, and it happens when the belly does not tolerate this type of nutrients. If gluten is added while the baby is still breastfed, the risk of celiac disease is clearly reduced, and

the best option is to add gluten gradually, in stages, and from four months onwards, while the baby is still breastfed.

Nutribén® gluten starter is designed for the gradual introduction of gluten into the baby's diet and has a gluten content lower than that of a gluten-free baby food, as well as cereals treated with a natural production process, and is enriched with vitamin A, calcium and vitamin D.

*With gluten.

Pharmaceutical Advice

Vitamin D, also known as calciferol, is one of the fat-soluble vitamins that is essential to support normal bone and teeth formation and helps to absorb calcium, increasing their strength and keeping them healthy. It has anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties that contribute to a healthy immune system and muscle function. It also helps to regulate blood phosphorus level.

Vitamin D can be obtained in three different ways: through the skin by exposure to the sun and from foods and/or supplements that contain vitamin D. In case of vitamin D deficiency or excess, it is important to consult a healthcare professional for diagnosis and advice. Remember that dietary supplements should not replace a healthy and balanced diet.
