Footwear should fit comfortably but not feel too tight. It is advisable to have about ¼ to ½ inch of room. The heel should be able to move a little, but should not cause slippage.

Melanin is the biopolymer responsible for skin and hair colour and is produced by melanocytes, cells located at the base of the epidermis and in the hair follicle. Anti-blemish cosmetics often contain exfoliating and depigmenting ingredients that help to soften the pigmentation and help to even out skin tone. A good facial care routine starts with an anti-spot serum to boost the action of your usual cream. Active ingredients such as Vitamin C, Glycolic Acid, Niacin or Cholic Acid are perfect for treating this type of skin. If you notice unusual looking spots or of unknown causes, it is advisable to consult a dermatologist. If your skin has actinic keratosis or many nevi (moles), you must go for a medical check-up to get them checked.
