Description

Sweating is the result of a process by which the body tries to cool the body temperature. To achieve this, it activates the formation of liquid by the sweat glands, which form sweat with water and body substances. If bacteria are present in the dermis, unpleasant odors occur.

Somatoline® deodorant for sensitive skin roll on acts on the skin offering an antiperspirant effect that regulates the production of sweat on the skin, fighting for up to 48 hours against body odors.

With a mild composition, this deodorant is indicated for sensitive skin, preventing the formation of irritations and avoiding damaging the skin's natural pH. In addition, its roll-on format offers a convenient and fast application.

Sweating is a natural mechanism to regulate body temperature, a process that intensifies during physical activity or when feeling nervous. Sweat is made of water, mineral salts and waste substances which, when in contact with the skin microbiota bacteria, are degraded, resulting in an unpleasant odour.

Deodorants or antiperspirants are cosmetics with one of the following functions: blocking some of the sweat glands (aluminium salts), deodorising sweat (flavouring agents), with antiseptic activity (alum mineral) or capable of rebalancing odour-causing microorganisms (pre- and probiotic ingredients). If the skin is irritated, avoid products containing alcohol and opt for soothing and moisturising ingredients instead.

You can find deodorants in several formats. Spray deodorants dry quickly, although they are not recommended if your skin is sensitive or reactive. Stick or roll-on deodorants are easy to apply and provide a feeling of comfort. Cream and soaked wipes allow for application to specific areas of the body with hypersweating issues. Finally, there are also cleansing gels and powders with a deodorant or antiperspirant function.
