Hair treatments also include scalp skin and hair. The main problems found in this area are excess dandruff, either dry or oily, and hair loss. In particular, dry dandruff is formed by a lack of moisture that causes dry scalp.

Pilexil® dry dandruff shampoo is part of a range of products specifically prepared to control different types of dandruff. With innovative formulas, they act on the production of scalp flaking to improve the comfort of your hair.

What active ingredients does Pilexil® dry antidandruff shampoo offer?

  • Terpineol + willow extract: have soothing properties that reduce itching and reduce flaking of the scalp.
  • Salicylic acid: has keratolytic properties.
  • Climbazole: powerful active ingredient that acts on dandruff, destroying cell membranes and the fungus responsible for dandruff production;

Improve the look of your hair!

Apply to damp scalp and hair length, massaging gently until lathered. Rinse with plenty of water. Use every other day, combined with a daily shampoo.

Seborrhoeic dermatitis is a skin condition that usually affects the scalp. It can also affect other oily areas of the body such as the face, sides of the nose, eyebrows, ears, eyelids and chest.

Persistent scaling with itching or discomfort usually occurs. Its formation is related to excessive activity of the sebaceous glands and alteration of the skin microbiome (overgrowth of fungi of the genus Malassezia). It can be aggravated by the effect of some medications.

Certain factors can trigger the appearance of seborrhoeic dermatitis, so it is advisable to keep them at bay or take preventive measures: stress, extreme temperatures, oily skin or skin with underlying acne, excessive alcohol consumption or obesity.

To improve seborrhoeic dermatitis, it is recommended to use non-irritating face soaps and/or shampoos with specific ingredients to counteract the problem (sebum-regulating, soothing, keratolytic, antipruritic, plant extracts with antiseptic and antifungal properties, etc.). In the case of shampoos, I recommend alternating their use with another very gentle and balancing cleanser. In a facial routine, as well as a specific facial cleanser, complete the treatment with an emulsion that includes some of the ingredients described above, and oil-free sunscreen. I recommend avoiding soaps that are too astringent, as well as cosmetics with too much of an oily phase, so as not to increase the sebum in the skin.

    I still can't talk about its benefits, I've only used it twice. I like the smell, it doesn't foam much but I think it's right for what it is.

    I still haven't been able to assess it in its entirety

    It's too early to assess, but it looks like I'll be fine with what I've been wearing

    It seems to be working, it's too early to tell. To improve the smell, I don't like the way it smells, it smells chemical.
