Retinol is a very interesting ingredient for skin care. It is a derivative of vitamin A and has been proven to have immediate and long-term effects. It is ideal to treat skin with spots, blemishes or skin showing signs of ageing. Why? Because it is one of the only cosmetic ingredients that can reverse oxidative damage in the skin. This results in improvements in hyperpigmentation, wrinkles, firmness and pore size. If you are using a product with this ingredient for the first time, we recommend that you introduce it gradually: 2-3 times a week until your skin gets used to it. It is normal for small irritations or spots to appear during this process (known as retinisation).
