Description

The Sanofi Decontractoll roll-on gel is formulated to relax muscles and offers an immediate soothing effect, thanks to the combination of a massage ball and a gel composed of arnica extract, a selection of 6 essential oils, and algisium (derived from the brown seaweed Laminaria digitaria). Its practical and portable format is easy to carry. INFORMATION This gel is suitable for all sensitive areas (back, neck, shoulders, elbows, wrists, hands, hips, knees, ankles, feet). The 6 selected 100% natural essential oils are: rosemary, wintergreen, spruce, black spruce, peppermint, and lavender. Its formula is tested under dermatological control. Free from synthetic fragrance, non-photo-toxic.

Pharmaceutical Advice

Arnica (Arnica montana) is a plant with anti-inflammatory, analgesic and antibacterial properties. It has been used topically (on the skin) since ancient times when macerations were made with its flowers as a natural remedy.

Arnica extract relieves muscular discomfort, and small bruises, and is useful in supporting muscle and joint recovery after physical exercise. It also has antiseptic properties.

In cosmetics, it helps to reduce small bruises or swelling after dermatological treatments.

It is not recommended for people who are hypersensitive to plants of the Compositae family. It should not be applied directly to open wounds.

Depending on the concentration, it is not recommended during pregnancy and breastfeeding (except for some cosmetics tested at this stage and with low concentrations). When in doubt, consult a healthcare professional.
