Description

Weleda arnica massage oil contains a formula rich in biological extracts of arnica, a plant known for its extraordinary medicinal properties. It is an oil for athletes because it helps prevent stiffness.

It is a very appropriate massage oil to apply before and after physical exercise. Its excellent properties favor muscular preparation and recovery, recovering skin tone.

Instructions for use

Apply a small amount of oil to slightly damp skin. Massage gently until completely absorbed. Daily use after shower or bath. Apply before and after physical exertion.

Composition

Sunflower oil, olive oil, natural essential oils, oil extract (sunflower oil) from arnica flowers and birch leaves, natural essential oils (mainly rosemary and lavender).

Pharmaceutical Advice

Arnica (Arnica montana) is a plant with anti-inflammatory, analgesic and antibacterial properties. It has been used topically (on the skin) since ancient times when macerations were made with its flowers as a natural remedy.

Arnica extract relieves muscular discomfort, and small bruises, and is useful in supporting muscle and joint recovery after physical exercise. It also has antiseptic properties.

In cosmetics, it helps to reduce small bruises or swelling after dermatological treatments.

It is not recommended for people who are hypersensitive to plants of the Compositae family. It should not be applied directly to open wounds.

Depending on the concentration, it is not recommended during pregnancy and breastfeeding (except for some cosmetics tested at this stage and with low concentrations). When in doubt, consult a healthcare professional.
