Weleda's Slimming Massage Oil has a completely natural formula that acts in cases of predisposition to cellulitic phenomena (orange peel skin, dimpling) and promotes the reduction of already established cellulite. Extracts of young birch leaves, rosemary, and butcher's broom energise skin and circulatory tissue exchanges. Results With regular use, the skin gains in elasticity, firmness, softness, and smoothness. Dimples fade, the appearance of orange peel skin is visibly reduced, and losses can be measured in centimetres. INDICATION Cellulite, dimples, orange peel skin. Body. Main ingredients Apricot kernel oil, jojoba oil, wheat germ oil, essential oils including cedar, cypress, and lemon, birch leaf extract, butcher's broom root extract, rosemary leaf extract.

Cellulite is an aesthetic alteration of adipose (fatty) tissue that can be found in areas such as the thighs, buttocks and hips. It makes the skin look irregular and dimples appear when you pinch it. It is also known as ""orange peel skin"". Most of the population has it, especially women, and it is determined by hormonal and genetic factors, but also by your lifestyle choices. You can improve this condition by working on them. There are several affectation degrees and the most severe cases will require medical referral.

Slimming and anti-cellulite creams (or gels) are cosmetics that usually combine ingredients that have a warming effect and improve local microcirculation with a lipolytic (such as caffeine). They help to ""break up"" these fatty deposits and mobilise them by activating circulation in the area. You may feel a cooling or warming effect. These cosmetics also often include retexturing ingredients that improve skin elasticity and firmness. You can promote better absorption of these products with a good upward massage and weekly exfoliation.

You can also contribute to reducing its presence with a balanced diet and physical exercise. Other useful tips are drinking enough water, avoiding toxic substances such as alcohol and tobacco, not wearing clothes that are too tight and hinder circulation or maintaining regular bowel movements.
