Product details
Sesderma Kojicol Plus Depigmenting Gel 30ml is a depigmenting gel created to help fade facial blemishes and achieve a more unified skin tone. This gel can be used on both normal and combination skin, as its formulation is aimed at all types of hyperpigmentation: caused bycosmetics, medication, sun exposure and, especially, acne.
Thanks to the kojicol acid andthe presence of glycolic and citric acid in its combination, the most superficial layers of the skin are progressively renewed, allowing the kojicol extract to reach the skin cells to regenerate them in depth.
It offers sunscreen and a non-greasy texture.
- Apply 1-2 times a day with the fingertips on the skin area to be treated.
- Massage gently and wait until completely absorbed.
- Apply an additional sunscreen after morning use.
- Use for at least 3 months.
When we talk about spots, we are referring to areas of the skin that accumulate melanin. Did you know that there are several types of facial blemishes? They can be solar lentigines, which are the most common, melasma (also called chloasma, which typically appears during pregnancy) or actinic keratosis (associated with ageing and a sign of accumulated sun damage). Taking certain medications, such as hormonal contraceptives, can increase the appearance of melasma.
The first and most important thing is to use a good sunscreen in your daily facial routine. Especially with SPF50. It is also advisable to avoid the hours of more sun and use other means of protection, such as sunglasses, hat, etc..
I recommend following a routine with cosmetic products that help both to minimize their appearance and to prevent them from appearing more or getting darker. They usually contain exfoliating and depigmenting ingredients that soften the colour of the spots and unify the tone. It is advisable to do these treatments in autumn and winter, as they can be photosensitizing. In summer it is advisable to continue, as long as we protect ourselves well from the sun and use products that we tolerate well or less concentrated.
You can start, for example, by applying an anti-spot serum before your usual cream. The star active ingredients for spots are kojic acid, vitamin C, tranexamic acid, glycolic acid, niacinamide?
Finally, if you don't know the cause of your blemishes or you notice an unusual appearance, we recommend that you consult a dermatologist. Go for a check-up, especially if your skin has actinic keratosis and/or many nevi (moles).
