Alan Mask IIR Surgical Face Mask Lilac 10 units

Alan Mask IIR Surgical Face Mask Lilac 10 units are type IIR (bacterial protection) surgical face masks with side bands for easy placement behind the ears and for a secure fit, allowing easy removal. It incorporates a nasal adapter to increase the fit of the mask. They are non-reusable, so they must be discarded once their use is over.

It is made of 3 layers of material: the outer layers in non-woven polypropylene and an intermediate filtering layer.
It has a ≥ 99.95% filtering efficiency (BFE), exceeding 98% (BFE: Bacterial Filtration Efficiency), which is the minimum required by the UNE-EN 14683:2019 standard for type IIR surgical masks.
It offers a breathability or air permeability of 55 pa/cm2, down from <60 pa/cm2 which is the maximum required by the UNE-EN 14683:2019+AC standard for disposable surgical masks.

These masks can be used together with other protective equipment (goggles, visors, caps, etc...) for a overall protection.

How to use and put on:

· Wash hands thoroughly before and after use with water and soap or a hydroalcoholic solution.
· Completely cover nose, chin and mouth with the mask, making sure to adjust correctly.
· Avoid touching the mask while in use.
· For comfort and hygiene purposes, a use of no more than 4 hours is recommended.
· If the mask gets wet or shows signs of deterioration, replace with a new one.

How to remove:

· Wash hands with water and soap or a hydroalcoholic solution.
· Remove the mask without touching the front using the ear loops, from behind.
· Wash hands again.

Maintenance and storage:

· Store in a cool and dry place for optimal conservation. Keep out of children’s reach.

Disposal:

· When the recommended hours of use have been exceeded, or if any deterioration of the mask is detected (reduced fit, deformation, wear, etc.), discard in a closed container.
