Rigid thumb orthosis for thumb and wrist injuries

Description

Rigid thumb orthosis is indicated to immobilize the thumb in the resting position by opening the commissure between the index finger and thumb. The alignment of the bones limits the forces exerted on the trapeziometacarpal joint and relieves pain. For use at night or in any situation where the hand is not in use. Regular use of this orthosis helps to relieve joint pain at the base of the thumb and helps to limit the progression of rhizarthrosis. Thanks to its design, it keeps the thumb in a resting position and adapts perfectly to the morphology of the hand. The self-adhesive tape provides a perfect fit to the wrist.
