Description

Horsetail Infusion is a supplement that intervenes in the elimination of cellulite and accumulated fat. It also reduces appetite and helps to regularise the transit. It is also a medicinal plant known to be diuretic and its infusions are usually taken when you have fluid retention problems, as a method to lose weight or to make a natural cleansing treatment.

Instructions for use

Infusions are made by putting a tablespoon of product in a cup, to which boiling water is added. Let stand for 3-5 minutes, covering the cup to prevent the loss of volatile compounds. Then filter the water to remove the flowers. It can be sweetened with sugar, artificial sweeteners or honey. You can drink 3-4 cups a day, preferably after meals.

Composition

Equisetum Arvense (horsetail, dry extract of sterile stems) Parts used: Sterile stem. Traditional properties: Diuretic. Rich in potassium and calcium. Remineralizing.

Pharmaceutical Advice

Horsetail is a plant rich in mineral salts (silicon, potassium, phosphorus, magnesium, calcium, etc.) and flavonoids. It has diuretic (helps to reduce fluid retention), remineralising, anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties.

It is also used in skin care because it promotes elasticity and collagen maintenance, as silicon can strengthen the structure of connective tissue. It is often used in strengthening treatments for nails and hair. If you are taking medication or have a condition, consulting a healthcare professional before considering a horsetail supplement is recommended.
