This orthosis immobilises the carpometacarpal (CMC) and first metacarpophalangeal (MCP 1) joints and places the thumb in a functional position. Its special construction effectively restricts the adduction of the thumb leaving all four fingers and the wrist free to move while its adaptable aluminum core facilitates optimal adjustment to the shape of the hand. It is dirt and water resistant so it can be washed as normal. For right hand size 3 and long length.
