Xailin HA is a lubricating eye drop that relieves the symptoms of dry eye, whether mild or severe. It contains hyaluronic acid of bacterial origin, a biocompatible polysaccharide with viscoelastic and moisturizing properties.

This hyaluronic acid helps to:

  • Keep the corneal surface lubricated for a longer time.
  • Increase pre-corneal resistance.
  • Prolong the tear film break-up time.

Xailin HA includes a preservative that transforms into water and oxygen upon contact with the eye, reducing irritation caused by traditional preservatives. It provides immediate relief in cases of dry eye, helping to:

  • Reduce pain.
  • Decrease irritation.
  • Relieve the sensation of a foreign body.

You can use Xailin HA in different conditions where tears do not sufficiently keep the eye hydrated.

Hyaluronic acid is able to absorb up to 1,000 times its own weight in water. It is therefore a very interesting ingredient for combating dry eyes. Its moisturising effect acts on the cornea and helps to lubricate the eye, compensating for the lack of tear production. This is why hyaluronic acid is considered to be one of the most powerful moisturisers, capable of alleviating dry eye issues. On the other hand, it is also a useful substance as an adjuvant in some eye infections such as conjunctivitis, irritation, inflammation or other common problems such as sties.
