Description

3M Adaptic Touch 12.7 x 15 cm 10 pcs is a non-adherent silicone contact layer for the care of chronic and acute wounds. It protects fragile tissue and facilitates dressing changes. It minimizes pain when removing the dressing and can be used as a primary dressing along with absorbent secondary dressings on dry or exudative wounds, under healthcare supervision.

It works as a flexible open-pore mesh that allows exudate to pass through to the secondary dressing. It helps reduce:

  • Fluid accumulation
  • Perilesional skin maceration

The low-adherence silicone helps prevent the secondary dressing from sticking to the wound, which reduces trauma and discomfort with each change. It can be trimmed to fit the contour of the lesion and is suitable for:

  • Venous ulcers
  • Pressure ulcers
  • Diabetic ulcers
  • Surgical or traumatic wounds
  • Donor sites
  • Superficial burns
