Alflorex Dual Action 30caps is a dietary supplement that helps to balance intestinal flora and relieve gastrointestinal discomfort.

Formulated with probiotics to promote the balance of flora and enriched with calcium that helps stabilize the microbiota-intestine-brain axis, facilitating the control of symptoms associated with Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS).

Alflorex Dual Action is SUITABLE for:

  • Celiacs, lactose intolerant individuals, those allergic to soy and milk proteins.

  • Diabetics (each Alflorex® Dual Action capsule contains a minimal amount of sugar that does not affect blood glucose levels).

  • During pregnancy or breastfeeding.

  • For those following a vegetarian diet and individuals on a low FODMAP diet.

Instructions for use

Adults and children from 3 years old: take 1 sachet a day, with or without food, at any time of the day. It is recommended to take Alflorex® Dual Action with water, milk, or plant-based dairy alternatives. It is not recommended to take it with hot or acidic drinks, such as some fruit juices, which are generally acidic. The acid can damage the probiotic strains, making them less effective. The capsules of Aflorex® Dual Action are formulated to be swallowed whole. If there is difficulty swallowing, the capsules can be opened and their contents mixed with food or drinks, cold or lukewarm. Do not mix with acidic fruit juices or very hot drinks or foods. Fruit juices are generally acidic, and the acid can damage, as with any other probiotic, the strains 35624® and 1714®, making them less effective.

Composition

Each Alflorex® Dual Action capsule contains one billion bacteria (1 × 10⁹ colony-forming units, CFU) of the Bifidobacterium longum strains 35624™ and 1714™, combined with calcium and a specific selection of B vitamins (B6 and B5 – pantothenic acid). The other ingredients are: bulking agent (maize starch and pregelatinised maize starch), gelling agent (hydroxypropyl methylcellulose E464), anti-caking agent (magnesium stearate). Food supplement with pharmaceutical-grade ingredients.
