Aquacel Ag+ Extra Dressing 10x13 cm (pack of 3 units) is a high-absorption antimicrobial dressing for the advanced care of chronic and acute wounds, including infected wounds and those with biofilm. It incorporates Hydrofiber technology and enhanced ionic silver.

It absorbs large amounts of exudate and forms a cohesive gel that helps maintain a moist environment. It facilitates autolytic debridement and contributes to the removal of necrotic tissue. Its synergistic action works against:

  • Planktonic bacteria
  • Biofilms

It helps prevent their reforming, reducing the risk of infection in wounds with high microbial risk.

The reinforcing fiber provides strength and allows for easy removal without damaging the skin. Its microadaptability reduces dead spaces and protects the perilesional skin from maceration. It is indicated for exudative lesions and can offer:
