Aquacel Ag+ Extra Dressing 15 x 14.5 cm 3 pcs for infected wounds or those at risk of infection is a high-tech Hydrofiber sterile dressing with ionic silver. It is indicated for:

  • Pressure ulcers
  • Exudative surgical wounds
  • Burns
  • Vascular ulcers

It absorbs abundant exudates and helps control bacterial load and biofilm.

Its reinforced structure forms a cohesive gel that adapts to the wound. It retains excess fluid even under pressure, which helps to:

  • Avoid perilesional maceration
  • Reduce dead spaces where bacteria can proliferate

It offers an enhanced antimicrobial action against pathogens in planktonic form and in biofilms. It also maintains a moist environment that promotes autolytic debridement and may require fewer dressing changes.
