An ankle brace specifically designed for the Achilles tendon and anatomically constructed in bi-directional elastic fabric to facilitate slight plantar flexion. The anatomically designed silicone pad occupies the depressions on both sides of the tendon, providing pressure relief. Intermittent compression on the soft parts of the joint allows for rapid resorption of swelling and oedema. Indicated in case of acute Achilles tendonitis, also for chronic achillodynia, postoperative irritation and irritation and softening in Haglund's disease (irritation of the posterior bursa of the Achilles tendon). Postoperative treatment (e.g. after Achilles tendon rupture). Size 1 - 17-19cm.
