Highly absorbent alginate dressing for moderate to heavily exuding wounds of any size, shape and depth. Promotes superior absorption compared to other alginate and hydrofibre dressings. Recommended for cavity filling. The design and structural integrity of the dressing allows you to cut the dressing to fit wounds of various sizes, shapes and depths.
The dressing will conform to the wound bed, which is important for the wound healing process. The high integrity of the dressing allows the dressing to be removed in one piece with minimal pain and trauma. Absorption and gel formation, which retains the exudate inside the dressing, prevents leakage that can damage the periulceral skin. Once in contact with wound exudate, it becomes a soft cohesive gel that provides optimal conditions for wound healing in a moist environment. Size 15x15cm.
