Description

Individual bags of extra strong candies with menthol and eucalyptus flavour. They are ideal to refresh the mouth in depth, helping to provide a pleasant freshness and aroma, to mask bad mouth odors.

Instructions for use

Add one teaspoon, per 250ml of water, in a cup, teapot or infuser ball. Steep the tea, filter if necessary and drink hot or cold. Read the directions on the package before brewing. Water temperature, as well as steeping time, may vary according to the type of tea or infusion.

Pharmaceutical Advice

Menthol is a compound extracted from plants such as peppermint (Mentha x Piperita) and can also be manufactured synthetically. As an ingredient in gels and creams for topical application, or orally, either in lozenges, herbal teas or gummies, it provides a very refreshing and soothing action.

In tablet or gummy form, it is used to soothe the mucous membranes of the upper respiratory tract, and to soothe mild discomfort in the oral cavity, as it has a mild analgesic effect. It is also found in food and oral hygiene products.

In case of allergy to the substance, chronic respiratory diseases, as well as during pregnancy and young children, do not use products with menthol and consult a healthcare professional.
