Various periodontal pathologies may arise from the accumulation of bacteria in the spaces between teeth and gums, also known as dental biofilm or plaque. Therefore, it is essential to perform a proper oral cleaning with an interdental brush when there is space between teeth or with dental floss when the space is very narrow.

The GUM® 840 threader allows the passage of floss or dental tape, which has a diameter of 0.30mm, through small interproximal spaces, removing plaque, tartar, and food debris.

Dental floss is perfect for people with implants, bridges, braces, and other orthodontic appliances because it slides more easily between teeth and expands, gaining much more volume, which allows for better cleaning of gums and teeth.

Insert the dental floss into the threader and pass it between the teeth. Pull until the floss is inside the inter-dental space and make a gentle sawing and back-and-forth motion to clean the space between the gum and the tooth.
