Treatment of acute wounds (burns, traumatic wounds, dermabrasions) and acute wounds in incipient and epidermal phase (ulcers, bedsores, diabetic foot). Atrauman is designed to protect the wound, promote healing and allow atraumatic and painless removal of the dressing. Its very fine mesh facilitates atraumatic dressing changes. Its triglyceride-based impregnation allows gas exchange, protects the wound and periwounded skin and supports the epidermis by providing energy to keratinocytes.
