Instructions for use

How to use Heliocare Oral 

It is recommended to take 1 capsule a day half an hour before sun exposure, although it is recommended to start taking them 15 days before exposure.

Composition

POLYPODIUM LEUCOTOMOS (EXTRACT), MALTODEXTRIN (BULKING AGENT), GREEN TEA, BETACAROTENE, MAGNESIUM STEARATE (ANTI-CAKING AGENT). CAPSULE: GELATIN (GLAZING AGENT), COLORANTS: TITANIUM DIOXIDE (E-171); RED IRON OXIDE (E-172), YELLOW IRON OXIDE (E-172).

Beta-carotene is an antioxidant pigment typical of orange or dark green vegetables and fruits. It belongs to the carotenoid group and is a precursor to vitamin A, which has very important functions in the body. It has antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties and helps in tissue renewal and to prevent cell damage. It, therefore, plays a role in keeping the skin and mucous membranes in good condition. It contributes to the normal immune system and eye function. It is important to incorporate a wide variety of colourful vegetables with complementary antioxidant pigments into your diet.

Beta-carotene is also present in supplements, along with the other carotenoids and ingredients that help prepare sensitive skin for sun exposure. They will never replace the application of sunscreen, but they are a good dietary supplement for people with sun allergies, reactive skin or uneven skin colour. They contribute to a tanned skin tone. However, excess accumulation of this pigment would not be appropriate either, so the total intake of foods rich in beta-carotene and a dietary supplement with beta-carotene should be considered.
