Mugwort, known as St. John's wort. Mugwort is a perennial plant native to Europe and Asia, belonging to the botanical family of Asteraceae. Considered in traditional folk medicine in which the flowers, stems and leaves are used in home remedies. In Chinese medicine the leaves of mugwort are used for moxibustion. Action: Analgesic, antiparasitic, anticonvulsant, antiseptic, emollient, antibacterial, anti-inflammatory, soothing, emmenagogue, tonic, stimulant and aperitif.
