It is made of bamboo. The handle. The bristles are hygienic, nylon, the dentist - that is, the one from CATSALUT, not the one from CATSALUT...- says they have to be nylon. For me it is more usable than the copper cleaner, than the "Halyta" and all that, more durable maybe but more difficult to use.
