Description

Dandruff is caused by flaking of the skin that forms the scalp. In addition to being annoying, dandruff is unsightly and causes itching and inflammation. In case of suffering it is necessary to use a shampoo that mitigates its negative effects. In fact, there are two types of dandruff. On the one hand, there is dry, white, scaly dandruff that falls off easily. On the other hand, there is oily dandruff that sticks to the scalp and has a yellowish color.

Interapothek anti-dandruff shampoo is indicated for frequent dandruff washing for people with dandruff and sensitive scalp. Prevents the proliferation of microorganisms that can induce dandruff. Suitable for both dry and oily dandruff;

Interapothek Anti-Dandruff Shampoo contains Piroctone Olamine to protect sensitive scalp;

Pay attention to dandruff and remove it;

Pharmaceutical Advice

Seborrhoeic dermatitis is a skin condition that usually affects the scalp. It can also affect other oily areas of the body such as the face, sides of the nose, eyebrows, ears, eyelids and chest.

Persistent scaling with itching or discomfort usually occurs. Its formation is related to excessive activity of the sebaceous glands and alteration of the skin microbiome (overgrowth of fungi of the genus Malassezia). It can be aggravated by the effect of some medications.

Certain factors can trigger the appearance of seborrhoeic dermatitis, so it is advisable to keep them at bay or take preventive measures: stress, extreme temperatures, oily skin or skin with underlying acne, excessive alcohol consumption or obesity.

To improve seborrhoeic dermatitis, it is recommended to use non-irritating face soaps and/or shampoos with specific ingredients to counteract the problem (sebum-regulating, soothing, keratolytic, antipruritic, plant extracts with antiseptic and antifungal properties, etc.). In the case of shampoos, I recommend alternating their use with another very gentle and balancing cleanser. In a facial routine, as well as a specific facial cleanser, complete the treatment with an emulsion that includes some of the ingredients described above, and oil-free sunscreen. I recommend avoiding soaps that are too astringent, as well as cosmetics with too much of an oily phase, so as not to increase the sebum in the skin.
