It is a natural coloring based on argan oil, which is permanent but very respectful of the scalp. Having a rather sensitive scalp myself, I noticed that when applying this product I never have a burning or tingling sensation. Of course, everyone has a different skin/scalp type, so you should always test the product before the first use. But I can say that this product is really very natural, very gentle and of excellent quality. I recommend it!
