This abnormal growth leads to the hardening of the outer layer of the skin and a thickened skin appearance. Sunscreen is also essential and even more so for oily skin. The effects of the sun can cause greater skin dehydration and a rebound pro-oxidant effect, which will stimulate the activity of the sebaceous glands and, consequently, cause more obstructions.
