The Mepilex Transfer 10X12Cm 5P is a silicone dressing designed for wound drainage, suitable for a wide range of exudative and complex wounds, as well as for protecting non-exudative wounds and delicate surrounding skin. It can be applied under compressive elastic bandages and remain on the lesion during treatments such as radiotherapy and hyperbaric therapy.
Its features include:
- It does not adhere to the wound, minimizing trauma during removal, even when the exudate begins to dry.
- Its use is not recommended in the presence of oxidizing agents such as hypochlorite or hydrogen peroxide solutions.
It is advised to store it in a dry place protected from direct sunlight and not to use it if the packaging is damaged. Sterility is guaranteed only if the packaging is intact. It is for single use and should not be subjected to re-sterilization.
