Powdered milk for babies up to 36 months of age, formulated with corn starch. Starch is a carbohydrate that thickens naturally in the stomach and limits gastroesophageal reflux, being indicated for babies with regurgitation problems. Novalac AR can be used as a sole source of food up to 6 months of age when not breastfeeding.
Skim milk, lactose, vegetable oils (palm, soybean, coconut), corn starch, fish oil (DHA) (milk), emulsifier (soy lecithin), choline chloride, dicalcium phosphate, vitamins [sodium L-ascorbate (C), L-ascorbic acid (C), D-calcium pantothenate, nicotinamide (niacin), DL-alpha tocopheryl acetate (E), thiamine hydrochloride, riboflavin, retinyl acetate (A), pyridoxine hydrochloride (B6), folic acid, phytome-nadione (K), cholecalciferol (D), D-biotin, cyanocobalamin (B12)], magnesium sulphate, L-cystine, inositol, L-tryptophan, dipotassium phosphate, Mortierella alpina oil (ARA) (milk), taurine, sodium chloride, ferrous sulphate, L-carnitine, zinc sulphate, antioxidants (tocopherol-rich extract), cupric sulphate, manganese sulphate, potassium iodide, sodium selenite.
Breast milk is the best food for babies. If providing it is not possible or if it is insufficient, the paediatrician is the best healthcare professional to advise on the most suitable type of milk for infants.
