On the other hand, Aloe Vera has moisturising, emollient and healing properties for small wounds. It is effective in the treatment of inflammations and external infections of the eye, such as conjunctiva, palpebral and corneal edge. The application of aqueous extracts of Centella Asiatica helps to promote the healing of wounds of the corneal epithelium.
