Sterile hypoosmolar lubricant and moisturiser solution with physiological pH for ocular dryness, based on high molecular weight Hyaluronic Acid and distilled waters of Aloe vera and Centella Asiatica.

Hyaluronic Acid has a great capacity to retain water, counteracts ocular dryness by providing long-lasting hydration and lubrication to the conjunctival surface. On the other hand, Aloe Vera has moisturising, emollient and healing properties for small wounds. It is effective in the treatment of inflammations and external infections of the eye, such as conjunctiva, palpebral and corneal edge. The application of aqueous extracts of Centella Asiatica helps to promote the healing of wounds of the corneal epithelium.

Hyaluronic acid is able to absorb up to 1,000 times its own weight in water. It is therefore a very interesting ingredient for combating dry eyes. Its moisturising effect acts on the cornea and helps to lubricate the eye, compensating for the lack of tear production. This is why hyaluronic acid is considered to be one of the most powerful moisturisers, capable of alleviating dry eye issues. On the other hand, it is also a useful substance as an adjuvant in some eye infections such as conjunctivitis, irritation, inflammation or other common problems such as sties.
