Sigvaris stockings are compression stockings designed to achieve better blood circulation. They are responsible for putting pressure on the area in which they are placed, so they are easy and comfortable to wear. They are recommended to prevent venous thrombosis, in patients in prolonged decubitus or in people who have varicose veins larger than 3mm.
They are also indicated in surgery processes and for pregnant women during pregnancy and the postpartum process. These stockings should always be recommended by a specialist.
They are not recommended for people who do not have any of the problems mentioned above, as they can cause other conditions at the level of blood circulation or leg injuries caused by skin pressure. They are also not recommended for people who have open wounds in the area.
