It is recommended not to take during pregnancy and breastfeeding and to consult with a professional before taking this product if you are undergoing treatment with medication (anticoagulants, immunosuppressants) or have special medical conditions such as high blood pressure, heart diseases, autoimmune disorders, progressive diseases like tuberculosis, collagenosis, multiple sclerosis, HIV or AIDS, diabetes, or if you have symptoms like abdominal pain, nausea, vomiting, or fever (as they may be signs of abnormal constrictions of the gastrointestinal tract, esophageal diseases and/or upper stomach opening, intestinal blockage, intestinal paralysis, megacolon, fecal impaction, inflamed intestine, or appendicitis).
Consult a healthcare professional if symptoms persist or worsen, or if a laxative effect does not occur within seven days.
Consult a healthcare professional immediately if you experience chest pain, vomiting, or difficulty swallowing or breathing after taking this product. The consumption of gold seal with alcohol or other medications and/or natural health products with sedative properties is not recommended.
Not for prolonged use, only for occasional use. Effects are observed between 12-24 hours after the first dose. It may cause gastrointestinal discomfort, such as stomach upset.
Contraindications: pregnancy, breastfeeding, diabetes mellitus, kidney or liver disease, allergy to plants of the Myrtaceae or Asteraeae family, if there is intestinal obstruction, difficulty swallowing, undiagnosed rectal bleeding, constipation after using another laxative, or gastrointestinal lesions or ulcers.
