Self-adhesive elastic cotton bandage

Description

Elastic adhesive tape made of cotton fabric, coated in the form of ribs in longitudinal sections with an adhesive mass of high skin tolerance, based on rubber and synthetic resin. The adhesive mass is protected by an embossed polyethene film along its entire length. The tape is wound on a plastic tube. Longitudinal elongation is greater than 50%. Ventilation by uncoated grooves (35 to 55% of the surface, depending on dimensions). Allows radiological examination without removal.

Instructions for use

Cut to the desired length. Remove the protective element, and apply to cover the compress respecting the feeling of elasticity of the skin or mobilization of the joint. Apply on clean and dry skin, previously degreased. Adhere the beginning of the strip to the skin; with one hand holding the band and the protector, the latter comes off when rolling over the limb, wrap the joint obliquely with a continuous 8-shaped movement. The compression force varies according to the greater or lesser overlapping. Take into account the direction of mobilization of the joint.

Composition

Cotton crepe fabric backing, with woven selvedges, washed and treated, elastic in the warp direction. Weight: over 200 gsm.

Adhesive mass Composition: mainly synthetic resin, synthetic elastomer lanolin, zinc oxide. Weight: more than 160 gsm.

Protective element: embossed polyethylene film (diamond point), printed.
