- Switch on the thermometer.
- Place the thermometer in the measuring area.
- Wait a few seconds until the audible signal indicates that the measurement is complete.

Exposing thermometers to extreme temperatures or excessive humidity is not advisable, as this may affect measurement accuracy. Leaving the thermometer at room temperature for at least half an hour before use is recommended.

If the thermometer comes into contact with any part of the body (ear, mouth, armpit...), it should be cleaned after use.
