Description

It is a natural vegetable product based on the bark of pine trees that grow along the south-west coast of France and are known as Pinus Pinaster. It contains bioflavanoids, substances that help to combat the effects of time on the skin's collagen, giving it resistance, smoothness and elasticity. It also reduces the activity of the enzyme collagenase, balancing the degradation and synthesis of collagen and elastin.

Pycnogenol® is today's most powerful antioxidant because on the one hand it destroys free radicals, even surpassing a variety of antioxidants such as vitamins E and C, Co Q10 and lipoic acid, and on the other hand, it works synergistically with other antioxidants by recycling oxidized vitamin C and protecting vitamin E against oxidation.
