Its main characteristic is that it is produced with nectar from the heather tree extracted by bees. This honey has a soft smell and a bitter caramel flavour with sour notes. It is a dark coloured honey. Its recipe is free of chemicals and sweeteners. Honey is rich in antioxidants, various vitamins and amino acids. It contains very few minerals. Its components make it a potent preservative and it is full of antimicrobial agents. Being organic it can be used as an accompaniment to snack time, it can also be used as an ingredient in various recipes.
It is recommended to consume before 20 months on the date marked on the package.
