ALGOSTÉRIL is effective in patients with hemostatic disorders that are congenital or acquired (being treated with platelet aggregation inhibitors, vitamin K antagonists, or heparin).

INDICATION

• Wound Healing:
  • Surgical and traumatic wounds
  • Deep/cavity wounds
  • Chronic wounds
  • Superficial and deep burns
  • Infected wounds and wounds with a high risk of infection
• Hemostasis:
  • Hemorrhagic wounds
  • Intra and postoperative bleeding from the hemorrhagic site
  • Hemostasis of puncture sites

ALGOSTÉRIL can be used as an interface with NPWT (Negative Pressure Wound Therapy) systems.
