Description

Bexident® chlorhexidine 0.2% for gums is a mouthwash which is included among the dental products for the treatment of gingivitis. It comes in the form of a practical spray which is to be applied directly to the area to be treated. Spray several times until the affected area is completely covered.

Chlorhexidine mouthwash is an effective aid to combat gingivitis, it is also indicated in processes prior to dental implants and in post-surgical treatments. It has proven to possess great antiseptic, anti-inflammatory and soothing properties.

Bexident gums also helps to reduce bacterial plaque. Its high adhesion capacity guarantees a long-lasting action on the area where it has been applied.

Instructions for use

How to use Bexident® Gums 0.2% chlorhexidine spray 

Direct the cannula towards the area to be treated. Spray several times. Do not eat or drink within half an hour after the application. It can be applied two or three times a day.

Pharmaceutical Advice

Remember that maintaining a good hygiene is essential to keep your teeth and gums healthy and looking good. For best results, brush your teeth 3 times a day and top up it all up with the Bexident™ chlorhexidine gums spray .

When using chlorhexidine products, avoid coffee, wine and tobacco as much as possible, as they can stain your teeth.

Do not ingest. Suitable for ages 6 and older. Keep out of reach of children. In some cases, a change in taste and a burning sensation on the tongue may occur, which generally decrease with continued use of the product; do not use if a hypersensitivity reaction to chlorhexidine has been shown; these reactions are extremely rare. Do not use if you are allergic to any of the ingredients in Bexident® Gums Coadjuvant Treatment. After prolonged use and contact with certain beverages and foods such as red wine and coffee, as well as tobacco, discoloration of teeth and fillings may occur; this discoloration is not permanent and can be removed with a prophylaxis at the dental clinic. Consult the instructions for use.
