To apply cosmetic paraffin on hands or feet, first wash and dry the area, apply a moisturizing cream, and dip the extremity 3 to 5 times in the previously melted wax (at a bearable temperature of about 50 °C) until a thick layer forms; then, cover the area with a plastic bag and a towel for 15 or 20 minutes to retain the heat, and finally remove the hardened wax by gently peeling it off to reveal deeply hydrated skin.
