Description

Hair shampoo that favors an anti-dandruff and scalp oil balancing action. Formulated with an exclusive antifungal complex, salicylic acid and essential oils, which contribute to soothe irritations and prevent flaking. It has a texture that generates a creamy foam with a pleasant scent. It helps to protect the hair fiber and care for the skin, while contributing to reduce hair dryness. Provides a toning and strengthening effect. Dermatologically tested, suitable for all hair types.

Instructions for use

Apply on humid hair and massage, rinse with plenty of water.

Pharmaceutical Advice

Seborrhoeic dermatitis is a skin condition that usually affects the scalp. It can also affect other oily areas of the body such as the face, sides of the nose, eyebrows, ears, eyelids and chest.

Persistent scaling with itching or discomfort usually occurs. Its formation is related to excessive activity of the sebaceous glands and alteration of the skin microbiome (overgrowth of fungi of the genus Malassezia). It can be aggravated by the effect of some medications.

Certain factors can trigger the appearance of seborrhoeic dermatitis, so it is advisable to keep them at bay or take preventive measures: stress, extreme temperatures, oily skin or skin with underlying acne, excessive alcohol consumption or obesity.

To improve seborrhoeic dermatitis, it is recommended to use non-irritating face soaps and/or shampoos with specific ingredients to counteract the problem (sebum-regulating, soothing, keratolytic, antipruritic, plant extracts with antiseptic and antifungal properties, etc.). In the case of shampoos, I recommend alternating their use with another very gentle and balancing cleanser. In a facial routine, as well as a specific facial cleanser, complete the treatment with an emulsion that includes some of the ingredients described above, and oil-free sunscreen. I recommend avoiding soaps that are too astringent, as well as cosmetics with too much of an oily phase, so as not to increase the sebum in the skin.
