Description

This gel is recommended for blemished skin to combat excess sebum and gently cleanse the skin. Thanks to its formula enriched with zinc, as well as extracts of raspberries, blackcurrant leaves and thyme, has sebum regulating activity, ensures effective cleansing of the skin, while preserving its hydration. Zinc has an inhibiting action on the enzyme responsible for the production of excess sebum. Together with zinc, the PCA (plant-derived amino acid) helps to preserve the skin's hydration.

Raspberry and blackcurrant leaves extract is rich in polyphenols which have a protective action on sebum, thus limiting bacterial growth. Provencal thyme extract has an antiseptic action that fully contributes to the effectiveness of the product. It is hypoallergenic, does not contain soap and adapts to the physiological pH of the skin. Recommended as an accompaniment to anti-acne treatments with a drying effect.

Pharmaceutical Advice

Glycerin, also known as glycerol, is a viscous, colourless, odourless liquid that is an intermediate product of alcoholic fermentation and is a member of triglycerides. It is highly valued for its moisturising and emollient properties and is therefore widely used in cosmetics.

One of the best-known products with glycerine as a base component is soap. These soaps have a low pH and work as emollient agents on the skin, helping it to maintain and recover its natural moisture level. This is why they are perfect for sensitive or dry skin hygiene.

Glycerin is also present in moisturising creams with an anti-ageing effect, thanks to its ability to soften the skin and increase its elasticity. It has great soothing action, so it effectively reduces irritations, acne marks or small burns, helping accelerate healing. It is also present in shaving lotions, as it reduces friction, as well as in hair care cosmetics such as serums and masks.
