Description

Chocolate flavoured dessert designed for people with swallowing problems or difficulty.
It is of hypercaloric value and is enriched with proteins, vitamins and minerals. It has a low salt and fat content, so it is indicated for patients at risk or state of malnutrition. With zinc, magnesium, potassium, niacin, vitamin E, pantothenic acid, vitamin B6, vitamin B2, vitamin B1, vitamin A, folic acid, vitamin K1, biotin, vitamin D3, vitamin B12. Contains milk proteins, lactose and soya lecithin.

Composition

Water, concentrated skimmed milk, sucrose, maltodextrins, calcium caseinate, sodium caseinate, rapeseed oil, modified starch, emulsifiers (mono and diglycerides of fatty acids) and thickeners (guar gum and carrageenans), agar, caramel colour, tripotassium citrate, caramel flavour, magnesium chloride, ascorbic acid, potassium hydroxide, magnesium oxide, ferrous sulphate heptahydrate, zinc sulphate heptahydrate, niacin, trisodium citrate, vitamin E, copper sulphate, manganese sulphate monohydrate, pantothenic acid, vitamin B6, vitamin B2, vitamin B1, vitamin A, chromium chloride, sodium molybdate, sodium selenite, potassium iodide, folic acid, vitamin K1, biotin, vitamin D3, vitamin B12.

Pharmaceutical Advice

Zinc has great benefits for the immune system, hair and skin. It is a trace mineral, meaning that the body needs it but in small amounts.

It is an important supplement for DNA synthesis, cell growth, protein synthesis, healing of damaged tissues and supports a healthy immune system.

It also promotes keratin and collagen synthesis, so it helps to prevent premature hair aging and even protects hair pigmentation. It also helps to strengthen hair and nails.
Include it in your diet by eating meat, fish, seafood (especially oysters), nuts, whole grains, pulses and/or milk.

A varied and balanced diet is usually enough to maintain a good level of zinc; supplementation is only recommended in cases of deficiency.
